JOB DESCRIPTION

• Operational Leadership 
• Direct and coordinate activities of warehouse associates during the shift. 
• Assign tasks such as picking, packing, staging, loading, receiving, and replenishment based on workflow priorities. 
• Monitor productivity and provide coaching to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. 
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members. 

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment as required. 
• Ensure orders are picked accurately and shipped on time. 
• Oversee receiving processes, including unloading, verification, and put-away of inbound goods. 
• Support cycle counts and full inventory counts to maintain inventory accuracy. 
• Troubleshoot inventory discrepancies and coordinate with supervisors for resolution. 

• Promote and enforce all company safety policies and OSHA standards. 
• Conduct safety walk-throughs and report hazards, violations, or equipment issues. 
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe material-handling practices. 

• Identify process gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements. 
• Work closely with supervisors and managers to support workflow optimization. 
• Monitor equipment and facility conditions and report maintenance needs. 

• Communicate shift updates, priorities, and concerns to the supervisor. 
• Complete required logs, checklists, and reports. 
• Participate in shift handoff meetings to ensure continuity of operations. 

Minimum Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED. 
• 2+ years of warehouse or distribution experience. 
• Experience in a lead, senior associate, or acting leadership role preferred. 
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners. 
• Ability to operate or learn material handling equipment (forklift certification is a plus). 

• Strong communication and team leadership abilities. 
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, WMS, email). 

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs routinely. 
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, or lift for extended periods. 
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.).
