manufacturing facility located in Edmonton Alberta.

Job Summary:
The Service Counter Parts clerk is responsible for sourcing,
organizing, and providing parts required for service work orders. This position
supports the mechanics by ensuring that all necessary parts are available in a
timely manner to maintain efficient workflow in the shop.
Key Responsibilities:
Look up
parts needed for service work orders using catalogs, databases, or
manufacturer systems.
Order,
receive, and stock parts as required for repair and maintenance jobs.
Maintain
accurate records of parts used, ordered, and returned.
Coordinate
with mechanics to ensure correct parts are provided for each job.
Keep the
parts counter and storage areas organized and clean.
Communicate
with suppliers and vendors to confirm availability, pricing, and delivery
schedules.
Monitor
inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
Ensure
all parts transactions are properly recorded in the company’s system.
Support
shop operations by minimizing downtime due to parts delays or shortages.
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 to 3 years of experience in an automotive, equipment, or industrial parts environment preferred.
Strong knowledge of parts catalogs, inventory systems, and order processing.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic computer skills (e.g., for parts lookup and data entry).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shop for extended periods.
Ability to lift or move parts and materials up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
Shop and parts counter setting.
Frequent interaction with mechanics, service advisors, and vendors.
