manufacturing facility located in Brantford, Ontario.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees all warehouse activities, including shipping
and receiving materials or goods, maintaining inventory levels, and recording
warehouse information. In terms of warehouse personnel management, a warehouse
supervisor trains new employees, assigns work, evaluates individual reports,
and resolves performance issues. Managing a group of 10 people
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ship/receive goods and materials. Check quality and quantity and record any
discrepancies;
Ensure that goods are stored in designated areas of the warehouse;
Supervise loading and unloading operations.
Verify that the bill of lading, invoices and bill of lading
are completed;
Supervise the operation of forklifts and pallet jacks;
Create a safe work environment and use PPE;
Maintain a clean, safe and orderly warehouse.
Assist branch manager in establishing warehouse standards
and procedures;
Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of warehouse employees and
drivers;
Supervise the counting, weighing and identification of parts destined for
shipment;
Check the documents against the customer's direct debit ticket;
Conduct daily inspections of warehouse equipment and grounds;
Ensure regular and appropriate maintenance of vehicles and equipment;
Verify that all inventory has a storage location, both physically and electronically;
Other related tasks can be assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent;
Experience working in warehouse supervision;
Forklift driving experience and certificate;
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects;
Calm demeanor and cool head to solve problems and deal with a variety of issues;
Ability to apply developed procedures;
Excellent organizational skills and ability to delegate;
Team player, versatility, autonomy and attention to detail and a job well done;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Efficient and professional behaviour when dealing with customers and employees;
Physical endurance, manual dexterity and ability to lift and move loads up to 20kg;
Willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
