housing markets has an opportunity for a Product Data Specialist at our Branch Support Center located in Springfield, MO.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create and maintain item records including SKUs, descriptions, specifications, attributes, images, and classifications in D365 and PIM systems.
- Collaborate with Category Managers, Product Coordinators, and vendors to enrich product content and ensure digital readiness.
- Validate and reconcile data against vendor sheets, product samples, and internal standards.
- Audit product content regularly to identify and correct missing, inconsistent, or outdated data.
- Support new product introductions, line extensions, and product lifecycle updates.
- Maintain taxonomy and categorization standards to support SEO and customer navigation on DexterIndex.com.
- Assist with bulk data imports/exports and Excel-based data transformation tasks.
- Coordinate with IT and Master Data teams to ensure data alignment across systems and support automation initiatives.
- Participate in product content governance and continuous improvement efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of experience in product data entry, merchandising operations, or digital content management.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CSV-based data workflows.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365) and/or PIM platforms (e.g., Salsify, Informatica).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret product specifications and attributes.
- Experience in B2B distribution, manufacturing, or retail.
- Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms and digital merchandising.
- Understanding of SEO principles and digital product presentation.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
