The Supply Chain Analyst will play a key role within the Inventory Management team supporting strategy, driving product flow innovation, enabling efficient inventory levels, and delivering continuous improvement measures for internal and external customers.
The Supply Chain Analyst will report to the Director of Supply Chain Analytics & Optimization and can be based in either Lisle, IL, Cookeville, TN, Springfield, MO, Mt. Pleasant, TX, or remote.
This position is a key contributor to the success of the Supply Chain, driving the "Right Product, Right Place, Right Time" philosophy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Leading the implementation of initiatives and tools that provide objective decision planning; leverage these tools to identify optimal flow strategies to best achieve the Company’s goals.
- Responsible for data mining and analysis to understand and illustrate best practices in product availability, network design, process development, and developing various logistic plans to enhance the distribution of goods.
- Examining workflow and utilizing analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and streamline business processes, and enhance supply chain processes.
- Partnering with several cross functional teams to assist, influence, and recommend solutions that identify root cause analysis and improve process development.
- Managing stakeholder communications and change control requirements.
- Assisting in optimizing supply chains overall spend and variance including the drivers of the variance.
- Working individually and within groups, proactively develops procedures, processes, and tools (reporting) to support supply and demand planning functions.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree is a plus
• APICS certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of related supply chain or analytics experience.
• Experience working in ERP system required (Microsoft D365 is a plus)
• Inventory Management & Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) experience is required.
• Demonstrated understanding exception and reporting tools such as WMS or MS Power BI
