JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-driven and collaborative Digital Product Merchandiser / Product Information Manager to join our e-commerce team. This role will play a critical part in maintaining accurate, optimized product data and enhancing onsite discoverability through effective search management using Coveo.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and experienced in working with product data and digital merchandising. Strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUP) are essential, and experience with Coveo, PIM systems, and reporting tools like Power BI is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Information & Merchandising:
- Manage and maintain product data, attributes, categorization, and digital presentation across e-commerce platforms.
- Support product setup, updates, and quality control processes in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Ensure product information meets internal standards for completeness, accuracy, and brand consistency.
- Monitor product display performance and collaborate with marketing/merchandising teams to support campaign and promotional efforts.
Search Management (Coveo):
- Own day-to-day management of Coveo onsite search functionality, including query tuning, synonyms, and relevance configuration.
- Review search performance data and make informed adjustments to improve search accuracy and reduce null results.
- Collaborate with UX, content, and development teams to enhance site navigation and product findability.
- Translate customer search behavior into actionable insights for merchandising and product team improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in digital product merchandising, product content management, or PIM systems.
- Hands-on experience managing or configuring Coveo or similar enterprise search platforms.
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data cleanup.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership over product data quality and presentation.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PIM tools (e.g., Salsify, Akeneo, inRiver, Informatica).
- Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualization/reporting tools.
- Background in e-commerce, retail, or wholesale product operations.
- Understanding of merchandising best practices, SEO, and product discovery strategies.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field.
