housing markets has an opportunity for a TWA Assembler 1 at our
manufacturing facility located in Mishawaka, IN.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview: Contributes to the production of finished products by assembling parts, pieces, and components in a sequential process using an array of tools and equipment. The assembler must inspect each section as they are completed to ensure they meet specifications, with an emphasis on accuracy and quality in all products. |
This position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following:

Essential functions
· Follow all safety and quality standards and procedures
· Review work order instructions before each project
· Positions parts and components by using templates or reading measurements
· Assemble each product according to work order specifications
· Verifies specifications by measuring completed component
· Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet quality standards
· Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly
· Complete required quality and production forms
· Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary product in your workstation
· Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts as stated on work order instructions
· Resolves assembly problems to meet specifications or notify supervisor to obtain additional resources
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Work Environment: | · Vibration from tools and some noise from the pneumatic tools · Forklift traffic · High noise levels in some areas · Dust, dirt, and grease throughout the facility · Exposure to outdoor elements · High heat level several months of the year · Personal Protective Equipment required, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection and/or fire or cut resistant clothing

Physical Requirements: | · Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly · Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds, · Ability to endure heat in a manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled · Regularly exposed to various repetitive vibration of hand tools · Continuous range of motion, bending, lifting, twisting, crouching, reaching, pushing and/or pulling · Frequent exposure to powered vehicles, power tools, and automated assembly fixtures Continuously uses manual and powered hand tools, (electric, battery operated and/or air powered) |
