The Human Resources Production Clerk provides support to the Human Resources Department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all employees of the facility. Responsibilities include:
Providing support for all HR processes including candidate interviews, orientation, employee investigations, employee meetings, campus-wide Town Halls, etc.
- Participating in recruitment efforts for hourly personnel for all manufacturing positions, including reviewing applications and interviewing potential candidates.
- Conducting new employee orientation.
- Creating and maintaining personnel and confidential employee files.
- Completing HITCH process with new hires.
- Performing exit interviews for employees voluntarily leaving employment.
- Compiling reports from databases, as needed.
- Answering and maintaining phone systems including frequent reports regarding attendance line notifications.
- Posting essential notifications in each facility.
- Retrieving, sorting, and delivering mail, including opening mail for Human Resources and handling requests in a timely manner.
- Attending grey floor meetings and spending time on floor to engage with employees.
- Aiding with employee appreciation, engagement activities and other employee-related programs and events.
- Assisting leadership, employees and visitors to the Human Resources Department with questions or concerns, as needed
- Stocking conference rooms with coffee and supplies.
- Running miscellaneous errands with company vehicle.
- Performing other tasks or duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years' work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- HRCI: PHR/SPHR or SHRM: CP/SCP Preferred but not required.
