This is a hybrid opportunity.

- Coordinates sales and use tax and property tax compliance company wide.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Multi-state sales and use tax compliance, which will include reviewing invoices for use tax, tax returns and gathering data across multiple ERP’s for monthly compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with state and local sales and use tax laws and regulations.
- Support operations on sales and use tax questions, including exemption certificate requests.
- Coordinate property tax requests from third party firm preparing property filings.
- Maintain and reconcile sales and use and property tax account balances. Prepare journal entries for these accounts during month end close process.
- Resolve state and local tax notices through written or oral communication.
- Facilitate sales and use and property tax audits, partnering with third party firm when necessary.
- Maintain/create financial policies concerning state and local taxes.
- Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
- Performs other tasks or duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting for Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years sales and used tax experience.
- Property tax experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Excel.
